Lucas Gillard from Melbourne works principally in marketing, but is also a writer, playwright, and poet. Lucas’ comedy Love In the Time of Milkbars was warmly received in the Melbourne Fringe Festival in 2009, and he placed on the podium for Best Play in the 2010 Short and Sweet Festival. He has co-written Be My Guest (2021) and is lead author of George Best in Australia (2024), both with Jason Goldsmith.
