Cunninghams Real Estate named as Manly Writers' Festival Sponsor

Cunninghams Real Estate, one of the Northern Beaches’ most trusted real estate and property managers, has been named the founding partner of the inaugural Manly Writers’ Festival to be held in March next year.

Cunninghams Managing Director, John Cunningham, said “As a long-term supporter of local initiatives, we’re thrilled to see the addition of a writers’ festival to Manly’s vibrant cultural scene.” 

The inaugural three-day festival for readers and writers will explore big ideas and great storytelling. The program is set to include one-on-one conversations, panel discussions, Q&A sessions on books published in the last 12+ months, sessions for children and school students, and social events.  

The festival’s founder and Northern Beaches writer and publisher, Bonita Mersiades, says the festival is only possible thanks to the support of partners. 

“We’re extremely grateful to John and his team for their generous support in bringing this first-of-a-kind festival to Manly. The festival promises to be an engaging and enjoyable celebration of writing and ideas with many high-profile and hidden gem authors taking part.”

The festival is also proudly supported by the Northern Beaches Council and local Northern Beaches publishing house, Fair Play Publishing, of which Mersiades is publisher.

All profits from the sale of tickets to the Manly Writers’ Festival will be shared between the Aboriginal-led Literacy for Life Foundation and local community cancer charity, Northern Beaches Community Cancer Charity.
